Assistant Office Manager/Receptionist required for a lively, busy office in St James’ Park

£23,000.00 - £28,000.00 per annum

Start-Up Incubator environment, busy, buzzy, friendly and informal office.

The client is looking for a candidate who will be a great addition to the team on a temp to perm basis (8+ month contract at minimum, but is likely to become permanent)

Responsibilities

  • Meeting and greeting guests and providing an outstanding first impression of the business
  • Event planning Managing meeting room diary
  • Serving refreshments to visitors, investors and senior board members
  • Resourcing for senior PA’s
  • Answering telephones and transferring calls
  • General administrative tasks
  • Assisting the Office Manager with daily tasks
  • Facilities management
  • Liaising with contractors and service providers

Key qualifying criteria

  • Competent user of Mac computers, Outlook and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent standard of written and spoken English
  • Engaging, personable and outgoing personality
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Team-player
  • Outstanding meet and greet skills
  • Professional presentation
  • Discretion
  • Flexible attitude
  • Ability to establish rapport with ease with guests and colleagues
  • Previous Front of House/Office Management experience in a corporate office
  • This is a Temp to Perm role- should the chosen candidate have a successful probation, they will be offered a permanent role
