Estate Manager- Miami Beach

Experienced Estate Manager required for Senior role in Miami Beach. All applicants must have the right to work in The United States.

The estate consists of a 12 bedroom property that is fully staffed. A refurbishment project is currently underway, therefore ideal applicants must have existing knowledge in both refurb projects and quality contractors in the area.

This is not a Butler/Estate Manager position. The Principals (a British family) are very relaxed and are not looking for any level of formal service.

The residence will be prepared and ready for the upcoming season by early October, with a full house expected at Christmas.

This is a live-out position, with a highly competitive salary available. The position is based in Miami Beach all year round, with no travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing and maintaining Management systems
  • Signing off expenditure – Cost Analysis
  • Household budgets and inventory of supplies
  • Overseeing house inventories
  • Schedule and oversee all contractor bookings
  • Organising the duties and schedules of all domestic staff, staff training
  • Liaising with PA/Family Member/Transport
  • Maintenance plan – To check and ensure house maintenance has been scheduled and put in place for each season
  • Organisation
  • Hiring/Firing (HR)
  • Quality control
  • Uniform for staff, relevant to specific seasons /climate
  • Boat logistics
  • House budgeting/accounting preparation
  • Logistics when moving house
  • Implementing peak/off peak staff placement procedure
  • Staff training
  • Monitoring of staff accommodation
  • Responsible for family assets inventory during transit
  • Create portfolio of all information regarding the family and maintaining including taking pictures of house standards
  • Create a contact database for meal bookings and entertainment for the family and guests
  • Ensure all insurance policies and necessary contracts are in place

Key qualifying criteria

  • Correct Visas/Passport to work in The USA
  • Previous Estate Management experience
  • Relaxed yet capable approach
  • Driver essential
  • Role must start by October 1st
