Private PA & Finance Manager

Private PA with significant accounting/finance experience required for client in Mayfair.
This role is a 1-1 position, where you will be joining a small team at a beautiful architect-designed art gallery in Mayfair, two minutes from Green Park tube station.

Core working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the financial administration of the gallery and the private affairs of the retired Chairman.

Extensive (10+ years) experience as Personal Assistant to a HNWI and/or a multi functional role at a high level in a small business, is the minimum requirement for all applicants.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and skills required include (but not limited to):

  • Extensive dictation for which either shorthand or touch typing will be required (60wpm minimum – tested at interview)
  • Purchase and sales ledger – training will be given on the specific software used
  • Stock management for insurance
  • Management of the Chairman’s personal diary
  • Liaising with household staff at his properties in the UK and overseas
  • Managing the administration for his various investments and trusts
  • Managing his medical appointments and liaising with doctors’ offices
  • Dealing with insurance – health, property, life, vehicle
  • Managing his travel requirements (booking flights, holidays etc)
  • Liaising with family and friends
  • Providing cash and investment reports

Key qualifying criteria

  • Minimum 10 years+ PA experience supporting HNWI’s
  • Significant accounting and finance experience/qualification
  • It is essential that you are an expert user of Word and Excel as you will be using both extensively
  • A solid ability to understand, collate and present figures is essential
  • DBS check
